I will say lower tier grenades are okay, if a bit gimpy. What I do hate however is that they cost the same far as I can tell to restock on nano hives and supply depots as higher tier stuff. it would be nice if a front line unit trying to spam their crappy grenade wouldn't lock the supply depot so I can't get anything out of it.
Another glitch I'd like to see fixed is the flux grenade. While people complain about the dmg one way or another I would love to see the AoE fixed. It doesn't seem that the visual effect is the actual AoE. People inside the dome don't always loose their shields and it seems to have no vernicle hit detection. You can go threw walls with the flux, but you can't get anything on a ceiling even if you time it to explode right at the roof.
This also leads to scouts simply jumping over the flux effect at times even though it looks like their inside of the dome. |

Do you just suck at using grenades and it upsets you when you get blown up? Or does mass driver spam bother you too?
Many seem to ***** about core locus because people who know how to cook it right can OHK, what about a properly cooked and placed M8? Same damage profile different blast radius.
Give us a grenadier class where we can swap light and sidearm for grenades. Then we can run around with 3 slots full of different grenades in a myofib stacked suit punching fools to death or blowing them up.
As a grenade user, I feel they're fine. The basic gives you an extra grenade over militia, the advanced gives a decent buff for damage, lvl. 4 gives the damage of a core but forces you to be more precise with your throw, and the core does what a grenade really should.
And packed AV grenades are dope.
Grenade spam over a hive is scrubby, but so are cloaked shotgun scouts. Or are people just using the tools at their disposal to effectively destroy their enemies?

You know for all you people quoting realism on grenades you seem to ignore the rest of the Dust world. Getting run over by a freaking drop ship or tank doesn't always kill you. A 80mm cannon takes several shots to kill you... Mass drivers, lasers, sniper riffles, machine guns etc all take several shots for the most part to kill a decently outfitted suit. Yet you try and claim a grenade should kill 90% of the suits out there in one shot because grenades are dangerous in real life? How man times you surived getting hosed down by an assault riffle? Should everything in Dust be one shot, one kill because they are dangerous in real life? |

Well other than remotes cause well those pack a punch. You might survive a basic explosive if your at full HP and shields, but other wise they will one shot you pretty easily.
